great proud in, but for the moment it's a means of having a link with my school, other than that, I've no time. But if and when I do, I won't hesitate in making any good and warm contributions if possible :)

This is a great way to reach us all. I registered earlier on today and forwarded the address to at least a dozen of my friends here in the US. All of which graduated in 1963 or later and were taught by our beloved Mr. Sartan who left a mark in my life as well as others. I salute him and all who are behind this noble effort...........

As an ex-student of TBS who came to the States after the 11th grade. I send my best regards and wishes to all my classmates. We spent the best time of our lives in Tripoli. We were children then. This is such a pleasure to see/read. My school's website. It brought back sooooo many memories, most of them warm and wonderful. Despite the civil war, the best years of my life, the most wonderful people in the world.
I'm planning to visit Lebanon this summer with my husband. He's Dutch and its his first time in Lebanon, I would love to have a reunion moment with some of the TES'ers. Please let me know what the possibilities are!

It was a thrilling moment to visit your site. It made me re-live the first moment when I entered TBS for the first time in March of 1948. Browsing the site I am even humming some words of the School Hymn that Mr. Douglas Deckerd then composed and taught us: "A song a song for our school on the hill, all hail to TBS"

I love it!!!! I am starting to upload my pics and you'll have a ball looking at them. Our class has been the best ever. Unfortunately some passed away, as you will see that I indicated their departure.
My cousin Edmond Abboud, in Texas, has created his album too. He graduated in '63. Rafeek Besheer will add some pics too, for the same year(63). I sent the website address to many friends. I just hope it will be bang!!! a big success.
Your efforts and Mr. Sartan's are very very much appreciated.

Hello Everybody.
It is so nostalgically moving to look at the TES website. It brings back memories of childhood and teenage years in Tripoli
Congratulations to my then Chemistry Teacher at TBS in 1964, Mr. Elias Sartan - to whom I spoke recently on the phone after so many many years- for his efforts to initiate this alumni association. Thanks to my great friend, Manuel Hazim, for his relentlessness to bring together everybody from the TBS/TGS ommunity
from all ends of the world.
Finally, I hope to re-establish contact with all my classmates and friends in Tripoli.

after gradguation there was always a wish is to meet old school mates and through this web site the wish became a reality . this time it is reinforced through alumni head quarter center that we will be visiting soon .we will share to keep that center running. congratulation TES &good luck.
