The TES Alumni Association

The TES Alumni Association was established in 1990 as a means of reuniting graduates of TBS,TGS and TES to strengthen the amical bonds among them,bonds that were first established during the school years.A constitutional assembly of ten graduates met with the school principal and laid the by-laws that govern the association in its internal and external relations. On the basis of these laws,the Lebanese ministry of interior recognized the association under the number 23 /91.Consecutively four councils were elected and always with Mr Elias Sartan as honorary president.

The association did not have its own center then.The councils met and carried out all the meetings and social functions in the school building in Zahrieh,Tripoli.We relocated recently,and have a new address at Karim center, El-Mina Street , Office No 350.

The association dedicates part of its income to scholarships and prizes for outstanding students at the mother school.Our funds depend mainly on a membership fee of 25000 LL per member per year.Some funds are also secured from the revenue of the different social activities that the alumni association carries out as a means of interaction within the local community.

Presently ,the members are comparatively few.Many of our graduates are scattered abroad.The idea is to bring forward and together all graduates, friends and classmates within the frame of the alumni.
